Dharma Samrakshana Nidhi

Since its inception in 2009, KC Das Trust has been working relentlessly to uphold and promote Sanatana Dharma in the society. Guided by its noble motto Paropakarardham Idam Sareeram, the trust has not only helped thousands of its members understand and practice dharmic rituals as per the scriptures, but also performed several large-scale yagnas for the welfare of the whole universe i.e. Viswa Kalyanam.

To support these initiatives, the Trust established the Dharma Samrakshana Nidhi, a dedicated fund aimed at preserving and spreading Sanatana Dharma. Recognising the need to counter the negative forces prevalent in the world, the spiritual wing of the Trust, called the Sanatana Dharma Varadhi, has taken an ambitious path to spread Sanatana Dharma more widely, bringing peace and spiritual elevation to the lives of millions.

Dharma Mithra

An ambition like this requires the participation and support of several passionate people. To this end, we are happy to introduce a contribution program named Dharma Mithra to allow enthusiastic Sanatanis to join hands on this Maha Yagna and work towards establishing a dharmic order in this world.

How does the Dharma Mithra program help the Trust?

Such an assured income through recurring donation gives the Trust the confidence to plan activities well ahead of time and execute them smoothly without having to think about fund availability. The scale of an event or activity can also be appropriately planned.

What are the advantages for donors?

Joining as a Dharma Mithra gives the donors satisfaction that they are directly supporting every dharmic activity of the Trust with their assured contributions. By joining hands with other donors in the Dharma Mithra program, your individual contributions, no matter how small, will go a long way in making a significant impact in the Trust’s mission to spread and promote Dharma.

Is there a specific date in the year to sign up to the Dharma Mithra program?

Members can sign up at any time on a rolling basis.

What’s the minimum duration for the monthly commitment?

There’s no end date or minimum duration to this commitment although the trust would prefer it to be at least for 12 months from the time of signing up.

May I make changes to my monthly commitment at any point?

Yes. You may update your committed amount, transfer date or even opt out of the program any time. It is really that easy.

Will the trust still accept general donations?

Yes. People are most welcome to donate any amount. There is no restriction to it. Even people who are already in the Dharma Mithra program can make additional one-time donations any time of the year.

Are my donations eligible for tax exemption under section 80G?

Yes. All donations made to KC Das Trust, recurring or one-time, are eligible towards section 80G.
