Mahalaya Amavasya at Varanasi, Manthani and Amaravathi
Under the guidance of Pujya Guru Dampathi, Mahalaya Amavasya observances were conducted in shastriya paddhati at various places by K C Das Trust on 21st September 2025, Sunday with devotion and spiritual fervor.
The event took place at three different locations: Varanasi, Manthani and Amaravathi on the banks of rivers Ganga, Godavari and Krishna.
A combined total of around 100 astikas attended the event at all the three locations and performed their duties towards their ancestors to seek their blessings, and for happiness and prosperity. Manthani saw a footfall of around 60 members while Amaravathi and Varanasi saw 30 and 10 respectively. After the rituals, the trust members also had a chance to take a holy dip in the three revered rivers and spend some social time together.
Pujya Guruvugaru has performed Rudra Abhishekam to lord Shiva in the premises of Mumukshu Bhavan in Varanasi in the company of other trust members.
The Amaravathi group had the fortune of having Darshan of the ancient Amaravathi temple and Amareswara swamy, the preceding deity of the temple.
The Manthani Group had the divine Darshan of Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavaru. The group has seen energetic participation from our trust members based in Hyderabad and other nearby Places.
Overall, with the blessings of Pujya Guru Dampathi, the participants across all locations had a fulfilling day filled with happiness and gratitude towards their respective ancestors.
