Mahasivaratri Mahotsavam
Mahasivaratri is an auspicious day for all followers of Sanatana Dharma. We celebrate this day annually by performing Uma Maheswara Kalyanam followed by Abhishekam by more than 100 members till linga-udbhava kaalam (the time of emergence of lord shiva in the Linga shape). Followed by abhishekam is the Bhajan program which continues throught the night.
Veda Pathashalas
The trust undertakes offering financial and adminstrative support for promotion of vedic education and conduct of veda patasaalaas . It has earlier revived one very old Patasala and got actively involved in its maintenance for twelve years . It is located in remote Achalapur Village in Tandur Mandal of Adilabad district , around 325 Kms from Hyderabad. The trust has helped Patasala constrict seperate buildings for classes and education , bhojana Saala etc Patasala has around 40 students and three scholars teaching both Krishna Yajur Veda and Rug Veda. It has independant facilities for Library of Vedantic books for reference by Vedic students, Full Fledged accomodation. It also has a " Gosala " where 12 cows are being maintained. The patasala is administered by Vedic Scholar Brahmasri Duddilla Manohara Avadhani and he is assisted by Sri SyamPraneet sarma and Sri Krishna Chaitanya Sarma. Trust also extends support to other vedic scholars who encourage vedic education amongst their generations and offers financial support. Trust also supports conduct of pradhamaagnishtoma yaagam, Poundareeka yaagam etc any other shrouta yaagam being performed by vedic scholars.
Water Camps (చలి వేంద్రములు)
K C Das Trust has been arranging water camps since 2007 to quench the thirst of people during the summer in various location of Hyderabad.
Scholarships
We provide educational support to deserving students in the form of scholarships. Every year around 10 students studying varied courses receive their scolarships from the organization.
